HARRY

A Proven Hunter that has all the talent to suit a multitude of disciplines – a true, quality allrounder!
Harry is regularly hunting with The EDH. He stood beautifully at a busy opening meet. He has plenty of gallop but is polite enough to only use it when asked! Clever & careful enough to manoeuvre trappy country. He has willingly jumped a variety of hunt fences, hedges / timber / gates etc and is always happy to wait his turn. He’s great with the hounds & other horses around him. Harry will give you a fantastic day’s hunting and he’ll be top class in the future! Harry will continue to hunt regularly until sold.
He has been XC schooling & SJ training whilst with us. He’d be a super grassroots prospect! He has shown a forward thinking attitude, has a careful jump and is willing and trainable.
He has three balanced paces, good straight movement and has basic flatwork established.
He has been on beach and moorland rides and is the same horse at home or away. He is regularly ridden alone and in company, in heavy traffic and open spaces, he has always been a reliable, straightforward hack.
We imported Harry from Ireland in July 2025, he has been sympathetically produced with longevity in mind. He hunted, attended various unaffiliated training shows and charity rides.

DREAMER

A quality young horse with a straightforward temperament.
Dreamer is hunting with The EDH. She has attended a busy opening meet standing politely for a port and a pasty, has seen hounds and enjoys watching them work. She is mannerly in the field & has proven bold to a variety of hunt fences. She has been schooled over hedges and she certainly possesses all the skills to make a classy hunter for the future! Dreamer will continue to hunt until sold.
Dreamer has attended pleasure rides, she remained level headed throughout the day, relaxed walking through a busy lorry park and was unphased by horses cantering up behind her. She has been on multiple beach and moorland rides and is the same horse at home or away. Dreamer is regularly ridden alone and in company, in heavy traffic and open spaces, she is an impeccable hack for her age!!
We imported Dreamer as a 2YO from Ireland, she has been professionally produced giving her a well rounded education and she is regularly out and about – seeing plenty of the world!
She has been SJ training and XC schooling she shows plenty of promise for the future! She is quick to learn and has a lovely attitude to her work.
She has three balanced paces and understands basic aids, whilst her education hasn’t been focused on flatwork she knows plenty for her age and shows willing to learn.

An absolute machine to cross country hunting! A horse with a huge amount of scope and trainability that could quickly climb the levels BS / BE.
He is quality, forward thinking & bold. He has a superb brain & loves to learn, Trainability, Temperament & Talent – he really is the complete package!
Raven has hunted in Ireland with The Ward Union. He is regularly hunting with us with The EDH. Recently attending a busy opening meet – he stands politely allowing you to enjoy a port and a pasty! He has seen hounds and enjoys watching them work. He has been schooled over hedges and attended hedge hopping clinics, he is an absolute machine!! He is as brave as a lion and as clever as a cat across trappy country – he knows where all his feet are! Polite enough to stop and do a gate but he will happily sit behind the field master all day. This horse can cross county…. He will continue to hunt regularly until sold.
He has been XC schooling, SJ training (on grass and surface) and Arena Eventing whilst with us – he is always looking between the flags… He’d be a super grassroots prospect! Raven isn’t a complicated horse and would be just as happy at a lower level.
Raven works willingly on the flat, he has three balanced paces, good transitions & will take the correct leads. He is beginning to work in a contact and knows plenty for his age.

Clover is the definition of a true allrounder!! Don’t be put off by her age, she has shown us maturity well beyond her years… she is a fun, forward horse that is responsive to aids but exceptionally polite with it!
She is regularly hunting with us with The EDH. Clover has proven herself to be a mannerly & uncomplicated hunter. She has attended a busy opening meet, falling asleep whilst you enjoy a sandwich! She has never been silly or strong. Clover will happily hunt at the back doing gates and having a natter but has plenty of engine to keep up with the field and cross country when you ask her to! She has jumped a variety of hunt fences, bold to a fence and always happy to wait her turn. She has travelled alone to meets and has always been easy to handle single handedly, she’s completely unphased by her surroundings! Clover will continue to hunt regularly until sold.
Clover has been XC schooling and SJ training, she shows great technique and has proven to be bold and straightforward to a fence, always showing a mature attitude to her work. She is easy to handle when out and is a really fun horse to ride. She has attended unaffiliated shows in Ireland.
Clover works willingly on the flat she has three balanced paces, good transitions & will take the correct leads. She naturally keeps a consistent rhythm and works softly in a contact – this horse loves to learn, she improves with every session!
Clover has been to the beach & enjoys being out and about. She is hacking alone & in company, regularly ridden in traffic and open spaces. We’ve found her reliable enough to ride out with novice children on ponies. Clover travels in the lorry & trailer alone or in company, she has always been the same horse at home or away. Talented young horse with a well rounded start to his education – he is an exciting prospect for BE and is sure to have a bright future ahead of him!
A very sad sale of a much loved horse! Samba has been sympathetically produced by an amateur lady rider with every intention of keeping him long term – sadly time commitments have forced his sale.
Samba has been XC schooling and arena eventing training with us, he is a bold forward thinking horse that loves to jump making him a XC machine! He’s always looking for the next fence and shows superb technique. He has attended various clinics, been out SJ training (on grass and surface) and shown huge amounts of ability, he doesn’t want to touch a pole and has a careful scopey jump!
He has hunted a handful of days with The EDH, he loves to watch the hounds and is able to cross country!
Samba has three expressive paces, good transitions, will take the correct leads & is naturally balanced. He shows a trainable attitude to all of his work.
Samba is an absolutely fantastic hack! He is always confident in his surroundings – the perfect lead horse – he will hack past the heaviest of traffic and farm machinery without a second glance – he is regularly used to accompany the children on their ponies and has never let us down!
Samba has been on beach and moorland rides & enjoys being out and about. Samba travels in the lorry & trailer alone or in company.
He is a talented young horse that is sure to have a successful career ahead of him. Although there is absolutely no malice to him – he is a responsive ride that wouldn’t suit a nervous / novice rider – he’s as bold as a lion and he deserves a rider that embraces that!
He will stand to be clipped from ear to hoof without any fuss, he’s an absolute pleasure to have around the yard and a gentleman to handle!

JOHNNY

BOLD AND BRAVE HUNTER
Please read the full advert… we are tentatively offering Johnny for sale but it has to be the right person!
We’ve had some SERIOUS fun on this horse hunting! He is coming into his third season with us, he has such a bold attitude and forward thinking brain – he is SO brave, he has jumped anything we have put in front of him! He gives you a lovely confident feeling going into a hedge and doesn’t look twice at a ditch – he’s good with the hounds and generally very mannerly to hunt. He isn’t a horse that likes to sit and chat at the meet or plod at the back – he wants a rider as game as him! He has hunted with a lady with The TVFH attending all their Vale Days and The EDH. He has also attended Vale days with various other packs. He hunted a handful of days as a young horse with The Galway Blazers. Johnny absolutely loves following hounds!
Johnny has competed in Hunter Trials to 1m with us always placing in large classes. He is XC schooling confidently and is regularly out offering a lead to our inexperienced horses. He has been showjumping unaffiliated with us and jumped some smart rounds. He has all the ability to have a successful summer job competing in the future he just needs someone that has the patience to bring out the best in him. He has attended the SWW hedge hopping day & was an absolute machine!
Johnny has been on beach and moorland rides & is regularly out and about. He is a solid and reliable hack alone & in company, regularly ridden in traffic and open space – you could ride him through the middle of a building site – he really isn’t phased by much. He travels in the lorry & trailer alone or in company. He’s a horse that loves to work!
Johnny can be a sensitive horse and needs to go to the right home where he is understood, he prefers a quiet and confident rider that has the patience to bond with him as once you have that bond he really will move the earth and jump the moon for you! We’ve owned Johnny for two years now and he is easily managed if things are done sympathetically. He will NOT tolerate an unbalanced or wimpy rider. We are in no rush to sell him as we’re having plenty of fun with him here but we do feel that he would thrive in a 1:1 environment and he deserves to be someone’s special horse…
